dear photographer
If you’ve ever felt like elevating your galleries and delivering timeless, film-inspired photos was out of reach…
Without having to master a new medium or attending yet another styled shoot…
I’ve got something that will change everything.
Here’s why:
I’m Amanda, and after 10 years of photographing weddings and editing for other photographers, I’ve been where you are—capturing incredible moments but feeling the pull to elevate my work.
Like many, I thought the only way to achieve this was to start my portfolio over from scratch and dive headfirst into shooting actual film.
So, I gave it a shot.
I spent thousands on cameras, rolls of film, developing, and scanning. And let me tell you, film is incredible!
But the learning curve? Steep.
And the cost? Even steeper.
As an artist, I love film, but as a business own it was costing me.
Then one day, while editing a gallery, it hit me:
I’ve spent a decade learning digital photography; why not fully embrace the strengths of digital photography and still achieve the rich tones, nostalgic grain, and iconic aesthetics I loved about film?
Why see digital and film as opposites, when they could complement each other—delivering the timeless look of film without the cost, time, or steep learning curve?
And so, The Film Edit was born.
I took everything I’d learned from years of editing and endless late nights in Lightroom and poured it into creating a collection of presets that give you the timeless beauty of film, all from your digital camera.
Here’s what’s waiting for you:
🎞 A portfolio of rich, nostalgic tones inspired by iconic film stocks like Kodak Portra 800 and Fuji 400H
🎞 Subtle, authentic presets that enhance your images without overpowering them and give clients something to rave about
🎞 Bonus creative film frames, essential tools presets, and mobile presets so you’re setup for success
But don’t just take my word for it. Photographers who’ve used The Film Edit tell me their clients love the cohesive, dreamy galleries, and they love how easy it is to achieve stunning results without hours of tweaking.
The best part? It doesn’t matter if you’re new to editing or a seasoned pro. The Film Edit simplifies your workflow so you can spend less time behind a screen and more time doing what you love—capturing memories and growing your business.
Ready to elevate your work and stand out to the clients you’ve been dreaming of?
I can’t wait to see the incredible work you create with The Film Edit!
